i have a few of them since 2019 and i must say i haven't come across such junk i don't recommend them to anyone

The new electric steering makes a real difference in town. It is light when parking but does not feel vague, and the front/rear sensors help with a van this long. On the test, it rode well and stayed settled even though it was empty. You also get Normal, Slippery and Eco modes, plus lane keeping and pre-collision kit depending on spec. My only small gripe: alloys on a working Transit seem a bit pointless. Kerbs will find them soon enough.

I’ve driven passenger vans for years, and the Transit 350 XLT makes sense only when you really need all those seats. The driving position is high, with loads of headroom and useful dash storage, so the front feels fine on a long day. But rear visibility is poor, and it gets worse when the van is full. The backup camera helps, still I’d want more camera coverage on something this big. The screen and USB-C port are welcome, nothing fancy though.

I've been behind the wheel of the Ford F-MAX 500 for a good stretch now, and here’s my take. The external storage compartments are a practical touch-it’s so much simpler to keep things organized. The seat adjustments are versatile but did feel a tad complex initially. Ride comfort is impressive, especially with the supportive suspension system. However, the user interface for the dashboard could be more intuitive. While the fuel economy claims hold up decently, achieving optimal performance does require a mindful driving approach.

So, I tested the F-MAX 500 on a long-haul journey recently. The new cockpit layout is user-friendly, which is nice. Though, I’d say the light interior plastics seem like they might show wear quite soon if not maintained carefully. On the performance front, the truck delivered solid road control and power, which counts for a lot with fully loaded carries. Overall, it did what it’s meant to do without too much hassle.
